SOUTH FREEPORT — The wedding of Amy Leigh Hersey and Eric Scott Cyr was held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the South Freeport Congregational Church in South Freeport. Pastor Christina Couch officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Cyr is the daughter of Wendy Robinson and her husband, Hollis Robinson of Masardis and the late Ira G. Hersey. Mr. Cyr is the son of Reno and Claire Cyr of Lewiston.
Daughters of the bride, Genevieve and Vivian Oakes, were ring bearers.
A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport, after which the couple traveled by motorcycle through the Canadian Maritimes. They are residing in Casco.
The bride attended Ashland Community High School and graduated in 1995 from Schenk High School in East Millinocket. She also attended Zion Bible Institute in Rhode Island. She is currently assistant manager at Coldwater Creek at the Maine Mall in South Portland.
The bridegroom is a 1986 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as a senior electrical controls designer at I and C Systems Engineering in Scarborough.
