In the year 2525 . . . the United States has had a successful liftoff of its spaceship from the launchpad of its base on the planet Mars. The spaceship will bring a trio of astronauts to the edge of the solar system for exploration.
Meanwhile, in local Lewiston news, the city has just completed its 116th study of what to do with Bates Mill No. 5. No decision could be reached by the City Council.
