SABATTUS — A section of Route 126 in Sabattus was closed Tuesday afternoon by the Maine Department of Transportation due to the high water level under the bridge near Steven’s Hardware, according to Town Manager Andrew Gilmore.
Travelers should look for a detour route through High Street and Maine streets. The detour will re-direct traffic until water levels subside, and the Maine Department of Transportation engineers clear the bridge safe to reopen.
