RUMFORD — Pennacook Art Center will open its June/July show at the River Valley Technology Center with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 8.

Besides Pennacook’s regular exhibitors, the show features the work of Christine Mulvaney, who died in October 2009. She attended the University of Maine at Augusta, where she studied drawing and painting under Pat Chandler.

Her subjects, beyond class assignments, are landscapes, life studies and a series of visions. Her retrospective show includes originals and copies of paintings, drawings and photographs. The paintings are not for sale, but copies are available.

The exhibit may be viewed during regular office hours at the Technology Center, 60 Lowell St. For more information, call 364-7243 or email pennacookartcenter@gmail.com.
