AUBURN — Buffalo Wild Wings Brew Crew returned to its winning ways with a 17-6 Auburn Rec men’s softball victory over Skelton, Taintor & Abbott at Lakeview.
After spotting Skelton, Taintor & Abbott a five -run lead on the top the first inning, BWW’s Brew Crew came back with five runs of their own, led by big hits from Brent Cary, Adam Woodbrey and John Graybill in the bottom of the first to tie it up.
Backed by excellent defense and outstanding pitching from Jeff Dionne, the Crew was able to pull away with homeruns from Joe Locke and Jeff Martin. The team moves on to a key battle with State Farm.

Lance Corporal Scott Paul tourney set for June 16
STRONG — The 19th annual Lance Corporal Scott Paul one-pitch men’s softball tournament will be played Saturday, June 16 at Legion Field. It is a double-elimination tournament. Trophies will be given to the top three teams along with a team sportsmanship award. Fee is $125 per team. Refreshments and T-shirts will be available for purchase.
