AUBURN — An open mic will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. every Tuesday, starting June 19, at Narals Restaurant.

Hosting will be George Normand, who hosted open mics at Holly’s Own Deli for four years and at Moose Creek Grill in Lewiston until it closed recently.

“My open mics are welcoming and supportive to those just starting out but have also always attracted gigging pros who enjoy getting out and trying their new stuff,” Normand said.

“We tend to attract acoustic guitar singer-songwriter types, but have welcomed and been pleasantly surprised by others,” he added.

Narals Restaurant, which specializes in a mix of Arab, Greek and Western cuisine, is at Court and Main streets.
