LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating a burglary at a residence on the upper portion of Baldwin Street. Prescription medication was taken, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.
The burglary was reported at 1:13 a.m. Monday. There was no sign of forced entry, Steward said, but the resident said the doors were locked.
In separate incidents, police arrested Kelly Chamard, 44, of Livermore Falls on Sunday night in connection with domestic violence assault, Steward said.
Besides the assault charge, Chamard also was charged on a violation of probation on a prior assault charge and obstructing a report of a crime.
In another case, James Barker, 54, of Livermore Falls was arrested Saturday on a charge of violation of condition of release. Current bail conditions stemming from a felony charge of possession of child pornography in February forbid Barker from having contact with anyone younger than 18, Steward said.
In a separate matter, police arrested Scott Collins, 46, of Jay early Saturday on a charge of operating under the influence on a motorcycle, Steward said. Police stopped the motorcycle because of erratic driving, he said.
