MECHANIC FALLS — One person was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries following a three-car collision Monday evening on Lewiston Street.
Police officer Alan Carr said the crash sent Darcy Letourneau, 28, of Mechanic Falls to the hospital. He said she was driving behind a vehicle driven by Lisa Franklin, 39, of Lewiston. When Franklin slowed down as she entered Mechanic Falls, Carr said she was hit from behind by Letourneau’s vehicle, which was hit from behind by a car driven by Kimberly Bither, 38, of Searsmont, who attempted to avoid the crash.
Carr said Letourneau’s 2001 Kia 4-door was towed from the scene. Franklin drove a 2001 PT Cruiser, and Bither drove a 2002 Infinity.
