PARIS — Celebration Barn Theater will present Susan Poulin’s newest comedy, “The Moose in Me, The Moose in You,” on Saturday, June 23.
In the one-woman show, Poulin portrays Ida LeClair, who has found her “inner moose” and become a certified Maine Life Guide.
Offering helpful hints from A to Zumba, Ida has gone from “Running with the Moose” to sharing the wisdom of their ways.
Poulin, both a writer and a performer, has been creating and touring her original theatrical productions since 1992. She was a featured performer in “The Mirth of Venus” and “The Mirth Canal” at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Maine Festival, Minneapolis Fringe Theater Festival and Cassandra Project of Portland.
As her alter ego Ida, Poulin writes the Maine humor blog and podcast “Just Ask Ida” for Down East Magazine.
“The Moose in Me, The Moose in You” will be presented at 8 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for students/children. Call 743-8452. Celebration Barn Theater is at 190 Stock Farm Road, off Route117. For more information, visit www.CelebrationBarn.com.
