LISBON — John Frost of Brunswick has recently joined Benoit’s Bakery and Wine Cellar in Lisbon, as the head doughnut maker.
Frost, formerly of Frosty’s Donuts in Brunswick, has 36 years of professional doughnut-making experience and brings his special secret ingredient and techniques that his previous customers came to enjoy through the years. Frost’s parents started the original Frosty’s Donuts more than 46 years ago. Frost was also the owner of Frosty’s in Bath for 27 years.
The addition of Frost to the Benoit’s Bakery team means doughnuts are available seven days a week, with at least 25 types available on a a daily basis.
Benoit’s Bakery and Wine Cellar is at 72 Lisbon Road and can be contacted by phone at 353-7552. They offer baked goods, nuts, cheeses, breads, doughnuts and pastries, and more than 500 labels of wine. A farm stand is also open at the same location, offering fresh native produce.
