JAY — Police say an investigation has led to the arrest of a Jay man on charges of sexual assault and sexual contact after the victim came forward to report the incidents.
David L. Grover, 53, was arrested Tuesday on charges of gross sexual assault and two counts of unlawful sexual contact, Jay police detective Richard Caton IV said.
The incidents happened when the victim was between the ages of 9 and 15, Caton said. They apparently stopped two years ago. The victim recently reported it to police, he said.
Grover was released from Franklin County Detention Center on June 27 on $2,500 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 24.
