FARMINGTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Jennifer Pinto and Joseph Pepper.

Ms. Pinto is the daughter of Orlando and Marina Pinto of Palm Coast, Fla. She graduated from Florida State University and is currently employed at Genzyme in Boston.

Mr. Pepper is the son of Leslie and Michelle Pepper Jr. of Farmington. He graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is currently employed with the firm of Conway, Homer and Chin Caplan, PC, in Boston.

A September wedding is planned at Torrey Pines State Reserve in La Jolla, Calif.
