Kristi Anderson, left, a junior majoring in social and behavioral sciences with a concentration in counseling at USM Lewiston/Auburn College, received a $1,000 scholarship from L/A Senior College. Bestowing the scholarship was June Spear, member of the scholarship committee and a board member at Senior College. Anderson has been active at the college, participating in the school’s Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society and the Walk to Cure ALS disease. She is a work study student in the Student Success Center. She also participated in the Dempsey Challenge.
