DEAR SUN SPOTS: You have helped many people. I now need help!

I have an old sock knitting machine and would like to speak with someone in the Lewiston-Auburn area who could give me some help. Thank you. — Glenna, 782-4909

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Would you ask your readers if anyone of them has been playing the Shaw’s giveaway game and has the number 04? This number would complete the million dollar winner prize.

If someone does have 04, I will share some of the prize money with them. — Rosita, Buckfield

ANSWER: Sun Spots does not imagine you’ll have many takers. Often these games withhold one particular number, which is required to win. If that number is 04 and someone has it, they are not likely to be willing to hand it over for just a share of the million-dollar prize. They can just keep collecting the more common numbers or pay a small amount for those numbers from other players.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: G’day. Randy Foster from the New Bern Sun Journal said you might be able to help my research into American psychopaths and serial killers.

I’m trying to find out the profile, crimes committed and sentences given to one of them, a man named Anthony Frazelle.

I saw him briefly mentioned on a recent TV program called “What Makes Us Good Or Evil, Psychopathic Killers.”

Frazelle was a volunteer for brain scans. Can you help me with any links to find this information?

Many thanks for your help. — Frosty Bloke, Australia, frozzbites@dodo.com.au

ANSWER: Although Sun Spots appreciates being recommended, she has to admit that serial killers are a bit beyond her field of expertise.

The only suggestion she has is to contact the professor who conducted the study. According to this website, http://tinyurl.com/89vnh5y, that was Robert D. Hare, who is listed as a professor emeritus of the University of British Columbia. He likely still has an office there, so you could try contacting him that way.

If he provides you with information on where and when Frazelle committed his crimes, you may be able to find more information in old newspapers.

Google gives this address and phone number for the university: 6393 Northwest Marine Drive, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z2, Canada, 604-822-2211.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Universalist Church will be holding its annual yard sale on July 13 and 14. Every year we always have some treasures that have not yet found a new home. If another organization would be having their own yard sale and have need of our items, we would be happy to donate them. Please call Pat at 946-5052. Thank you. — Heidi, Universalist Church of Greene
