TURNER — Vocalist Elizabeth Collins Young will perform at the “Music For Mavis” community gazebo at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17.

A vocalist, actress and producer for more than 20 years, Young is known as a performer who brings joy to audiences wherever she goes. She has produced several shows for the benefit of cancer research and is an active entertainer in the Boston area.

Young trained in voice and theater at Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Mass., and at Herbert Berghof Studio in New York City.  

She will be accompanied on piano by Bob Baughman, also a vocalist and bandleader active in the Boston area for many years. He has performed regularly at the Oak Bar at the Fairmont Copley Hotel, the Boston Harbor Hotel and other fine Boston area hotels, and at Lilies Piano Bar at Faneuil Hall. A graduate of Berklee College and the New England Conservatory, he teaches piano at Andover’s Phillips Academy.

The concert is free. Bring a lawn chair.
