I read with dismay, but not surprise, the Bangor Daily News story “Pingree letter to feds riles governor,” printed in the Sun Journal on page one, July 11.

So now, the man I consider to be the bully in the Blaine House takes aim at an elected representative of Congress.

I don’t see Rep. Chellie Pingree as “siding” with President Barack Obama. Her reasoning, as reflected in the article, seems quite sound. And who, might I inquire, are all those “people of Maine” that she’s supposedly stomping over?

I am a person of Maine and I don’t agree with LePage’s views on this subject, or many others for that matter. And while we are speaking so frankly about the will of the people of Maine, whatever happened to the bond issue a great many of us voted on?

It would appear the only “will” the governor cares about is the will to follow his lead.
