JAY — RSU 73 school directors have volunteered to lead a task force to look at school buildings and the district’s grounds to help plan for the future.

There are three phases to the task force’s work. They are charged with collecting information and data, establishing an educational framework and developing options and recommendations for the best use of the schools and district’s property.

The task force is scheduled to present recommendations and decisions in October 2012.

Community and business people interested in serving on one of five planning area teams can call the Central Office at 897-6722 to volunteer.

A board member will be the chairperson of each subcommittee that will have six additional members.
