LIVERMORE FALLS — Two brothers face charges after one came to the defense of the other after a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation at Pine Ridge mobile home park Saturday.

Charles Brewster IV, 31, of Livermore Falls was arrested on charges of threatening with a dangerous weapon, a knife, and criminal trespassing, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.

Craig Brewster, 27, of Livermore Falls was arrested on a charge of reckless conduct in connection to waving a rifle around during the altercation, he said.

Both men were taken to Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn.

Bail was set for each at $260 cash, Steward said.

They are scheduled to appear in a Lewiston court Aug. 30.
