This style is played out in “Venus Flying Trapeze,” Beam’s newest LP. At age 23, Beam already has a broad discography. Besides a handful of self-produced, full-length solo albums, he also fronted the The Stereo Flys based in Boston. In 2010, when “Venus Flying Trapeze” was recorded, The Stereo Flys released “Hello Greetings From A Bunker” and, subsequently, embarked on a three-week summer tour of the United States.
