Beth Beaudoin, University Credit Union Farmington branch manager, presents Gary Oswald, principal of Mt. Blue Middle School, with a check for $1,000 on June 15. The contribution was made through the efforts of UCU’s Adopt-A-School Program, an ongoing effort that last year assisted two families in need during the holiday season and was used to organize a large bowling event to support the needs of the school. The school intends to use the most recent donation to schedule a motivational speaker for next year and to purchase a trophy case to place in the entryway of the school.
