AUBURN — Memorial services honoring the life of Arlene A. Hawkins were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Casey Collins officiating, along with family friend, the Rev. Wilma Reichard. During the service, words of remembrance were shared by Arlene’s daughter, Becky Hawkins, as well as close family friend, Gail Johnson. Prior to concluding services, a video tribute in memory of Arlene was played showing the highlights of Arlene’s life with her family. At the conclusion of services, the Rev. Reichard recited a benediction, then led all in attendance outside to a butterfly release in Arlene’s honor. All were then invited to a reception of fellowship in the church hall. A private burial was held in the Hawkins’ family plot at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son, Auburn.
