AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Robert G.Theriault was celebrated by the Rev. Richard McLaughlin, Saturday, at Sacred Heart Church of the Prince of Peace Parish. During Mass, Robert’s granddaughter, Christine Ames, read the first reading, and Robert’s son, Daniel, read the second reading. The prayer of the faithful was recited by granddaughter, Sheri Wagg. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by grandsons, Matthew and Justin Theriault. Words of remembrance were shared by Robert’s son, Peter, at the conclusion of Mass. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Deacon Denis Mailhot recited committal prayers. As a gesture of remembrance, Robert’s son, Daniel, presented his son, Justin, with his Grandfather Theriault’s crucifix prior to concluding services. The pallbearers were Clement, Mike, David, and Pat Theriault, as well as John and Pat Fournier. All in attendance were then invited to a reception of fellowship at the VFW Hall in Auburn. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
