AUBURN — Shawn Roy of Auburn and Roseann Roy of Lewiston announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Ann Roy, to Brandon Theodore Phillips, son of Tammy and Ted Phillips of Dayton, Ohio.

Miss Roy graduated from Edward Little High School in 2004. She continued her education at Ohio State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is currently employed as a branch manager for PNC Bank.

Mr. Phillips graduated from Northmont High School of Clayton, Ohio, in 2004. He attended Ohio State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He now is a nuclear engineer for Westinghouse Electric Company.

The couple currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pa., and they are planning an August 2013 wedding in Casco at Point Sebago Resort.
