OXFORD — Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse of Grace Fellowship Church invites area children to a high-flying Vacation Bible School. The theme will be “Sky – Everything is Possible with God.”

Vacation Bible School will take place at the church on Poplar Street. It will run Monday through Friday, Aug. 6-10, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. It will be a great week of experiences and fun for children 4 to 14. Parents are welcome to stay with their children during Bible School hours.

“We have a great crew of people excited to make this a special week of fun and learning for the kids,” said Bible School Director, Jo Bradeen. “They are planning to make God’s Word come alive in ways the kids can understand. They will enjoy Bible lessons, Chadder Theater, snacks, games, crafts, and music.

“They will meet characters such as Pat, Orville, Scout, Apollo, Rockette, and of course Chadder, star of Chadder Theater. I know the kids will have a great time learning that the ‘sky’s the limit’ when God’s in control!” Bradeen said.

There will be a closing program at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10. Parents and friends can hear the children sing, tell some of the things they did that week and share the experiences they had. Refreshments will follow the program.
