BOSTON — Albert Ernest Russell Jr., 68, of Jolin Street, Lewiston, died Friday, July 13, at Mass General Hospital, with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston, March 18, 1944, a son of the late Albert E. and Clara Crabtree Russell Sr. He was educated in Lewiston schools. Al served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, retiring after 22 years of service. He then worked at Pioneer Plastic as a pipefitter. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, the former Monique St. Hilaire (Houle) of Lewiston; a daughter, Dawn Nacri and husband, Angelo, of Lewiston; two sons, Albert Russell III and his companion, Kathy White, of Lewiston and Ryan Russell of Sabattus; three stepchildren, Matt and Paula Nason of Turner, Scott and Jenny Adams of Lewiston and Aaron and Corina Wright of Sabattus; 13 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Larry Barbara Straffin and Willis Hilda Davis; and a brother, David and wife, Patty Russell.

He was predeceased by a brother, Warren Russell; and his wife, the former Evelyn Turcotte.
