LEWISTON — Andre D. Gagne, 66, of Ash Street, Lewiston, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 21, at his home.
He was born in Auburn, May 2, 1946, a son of the late Delium and Roma (Lessard) Gagne. He was educated in local schools. Andre worked at Superior Concrete as a computerized cement mixer. Prior to this, he worked for many years with his dad (Gagne and Son) in hot top paving and landscaping.
Andre loved to build and fix things as well as dining and sightseeing. He had an appreciation for life, was easygoing and had an infectious laugh that was hard to resist. He was loved and will be missed by all who came in contact with him.
Andre leaves two daughters, Michelle and Nicole; two sisters, Sylvia Plourde of Lewiston and Helene Poulin of Orlando, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and a longtime special friend, Jeannie Farrington.
He was predeceased by a sister, Constance (Connie) Schiller.
