On Tuesday, July 31, Greg and Jessie Boardman will sing and play a New England style of folk music, with fiddles, guitars and cello, at the “Music for Mavis” community gazebo in Turner. They will also present original songs, airs and dance tunes, and traditional Scots-Irish and French-Canadian music. They have performed at concert/dance venues and the American Folk Festival, as well as at nursing homes, Grange halls and churches. Greg is  founder of Maine Fiddle Camp, where he and Jessie are on staff. Music will begin at 6:30 p.m. Donations accepted. Bring a lawn chair.
