LEWISTON — Gerard M. “Gerry” Chabot, 77, died May 4, 2012.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1934, the son of Alfred and Cecile (Lalonde) Chabot. He was married to Pauline C. Fontaine on May 3, 1958. She passed away on Nov. 19, 1979. Gerry worked as a custodian at Lewiston High School.
  
He is survived by five children, Raymond M. Chabot and wife, Sandy (Morin); Joline P. (Chabot) Hebert and husband, Gilbert; Diane R. (Chabot) Miller and husband, Scott; Maurice A. Chabot and Michel G. Chabot. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Jason Chabot, Stacie Chabot, Jennifer (Hebert) Deschenes and husband, Timothy, Trisha Hebert, Kelly Miller and Tracy Miller; and a great-grandchild, Gabriel Deschenes.
  
He had nine siblings, Joseph (Jeannine) Chabot; Joseph died in 2007; Brother Ireneus Chabot, SC; Rev. Robert A. Chabot, SS; Rev. Roger P. Chabot; Jacqueline Rossignol; Theresa Chabot; Pauline Wiesen and husband, David; Richard (Stella) Chabot; and Rachel Telow.
