I praise Lewiston Mayor Bob Macdonald for things he has said and done, including supporting Gov. Paul LePage.

The problem is that there are many “goody-two-shoes” in this country and state. Every word that Macdonald or LePage says has to be the way some people don’t understand. Those people are afraid to speak the truth.

Well, some of us are not.

Gov. LePage and Mayor Macdonald show that they have guts, which a lot of other people don’t.

I offer my thanks to Gov. LePage and Mayor Macdonald for trying to do a good job.
