LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club has welcomed new members, Betsy Sibley and Giselle St. Amand, into the friendship of Rotary in the Lewiston-Auburn Community and throughout the world.

“I’m excited to become a Rotarian,” said Sibley. “I’m excited about the values the club represents and looking forward to giving back to my community.” Sibley is the marketing and business development director at Community Credit Union. She resides in Turner with her husband Scott and their two sons.

“I have been looking for an organization to join; an organization to help me give back to the community where I live and work,” said St. Amand. “Rotary is in line with my values and ethics and I look forward to being a part of this group.” St. Amand is a retail manager with Androscoggin Bank. She resides in Auburn with her husband Phil.

Rotary is an international organization of business and professional people. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise

The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary club meets every Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Ramada Inn. Lunch is $8 per person. Registration for meetings is not required.
