We would like to say that there are some really great people in this world. We were so fortunate to have the assistance of David and Katie Spugnardi of Leeds on July 27.

We were leaving the parking lot at a discount store in Auburn when a relative of ours fell while trying to get into our vehicle. She fell backward, hitting her head on the asphalt and breaking two bones in her leg.

David, an EMT who was off duty at the time, saw what happened and immediately came to our assistance.

Another wonderful gentleman, whose name we did not get, also helped by calling 911 for us. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by such caring individuals at a time of confusion and worry.

Please know that we are truly grateful to you all and for all that you have done. We hope that one day the good you bestowed on us will be rewarded to you a hundred-fold.
