LIVERMORE FALLS — RSU 73 directors changed their budget meeting to Monday to meet the seven-day deadline to post warrants for a third try at a budget on Aug. 14.

The meeting place also has changed to allow for information to be accessed from the superintendent’s office, if necessary.

Directors will consider a revised budget at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the Cedar Street Boardroom in Livermore Falls.

It is unknown what the new proposed budget will look like. That will be part of the discussion Monday, and warrants will be signed.

Voters in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls rejected an $18.7 million budget for 2012-13 in July by a vote of 346-469. They also rejected an $18.8 million budget in June.

Whatever is decided Monday will go to voters in a districtwide budget meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, in the cafeteria at the Spruce Mountain Middle School in Jay.

The amount approved will go to a yes or no validation vote at the polls in each town on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
