LIVERMORE FALLS — The town’s six-week, summer recreation program drew 264 children from five towns this year, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said Tuesday.

Sally Boivin, director of the Spruce Mountain Summer Recreation Program, sent selectmen information to update them on this year’s program that ran in June and July, she said.

The program is open to children in grades one through eight.

Livermore Falls and Jay contribute $12,000 each to operate it. Children from both towns pay a lower enrollment fee than those who come from towns that don’t fund the overall program.

Livermore Falls had 105 children participate. Jay had 117; Livermore, 27; Fayette, 4; and Leeds, 1.
