FARMINGTON — The Rustic Overtones will headline Synergy at a benefit concert planned for Sept. 8 at Titcomb Mountain.

Synergy is a fundraising event sponsored by the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area in partnership with Franklin Community Health Network.

The concert, scheduled from 5 to 10 p.m., will be an evening of live music. Bring the family, chairs or blankets and enjoy Reggae Loving CatchaVibe; The Running Gags, who are influenced by the Beatles and the Red Hot Chili Peppers; and rock/jazz/funk virtuosos Rustic Overtones.

Hamburgers and hot dogs and other items will be sold, and alcoholic beverages will be available for those of age.

Proceeds from Synergy will help FCHN increase its mobile health outreach, and allow the United Way to increase support for children’s services and violence prevention.

Synergy is also an opportunity to formally recognize volunteers who contribute thousands of hours a year improving communities.

Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the gate. Volunteers who give so much to their communities and are affiliated with a member organization of the Franklin Volunteer Network, FCHN, or those who participate in United Way Days of Caring are being recognized for their service with a reduced admission of just $10.

Tickets may be purchased by calling the United Way at 778-5048, or online at uwtva.org. Tickets are also available in Farmington at Full Bloom Hydroponics; Devaney, Doak & Garrett; 3D Games; Wicked Gelato; Franklin Community Health Network; and Franklin Memorial Hospital Gift Shop.

This outdoor concert will be held rain or shine.
