Grange picnic

AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will hold its annual picnic on Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Hatch Farm, 332 Leeds Jct. Road, Wales anytime after 4 p.m. 

Members are asked to bring lawn chairs, their own lunches and a salad or dessert to share.  A grill will be available for those wishing to cook.  

A rain date is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23.  All members and guests are welcome.

Society yard sale

HEBRON — The Hebron Historical Society is holding a large fundraising garage and yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 10 and 11, at 130 Merrill Hill Road, as part of the sixth annual Merrill Hill Area Street of Yard Sales.

Proceeds will support the society’s building fund. Donations are still welcome. Call 966-2177 for pickup.
