The Lewiston Planning Board unanimously approved final plans Tuesday for Pond Ridge Acres, a development of 32 single-family homes to be built along No Name Pond. Lewiston Development Group plans to develop 99 of 120 acres in the area, including the construction of a 3,400-foot street. Several residents who own summer homes on the pond expressed concern for the future of its water quality and access to a common beach. One of the major features of the subdivision, according to City Planning Director Debrah J. Richard, is a conservation easement that greatly restricts activity within a wide area abutting the pond.
