The best way to experience the Festival is in a hot air balloon! Advanced reservations for rides are recommended, and are available for $200 per person until Monday, August 15 at 5 p.m. Rides are scheduled for the evening launch on Friday, and both morning and evening on Saturday and Sunday. Flights are usually available during the weekend, but we strongly advise advance reservations.

How to schedule a ride

Registration forms for balloon rides can be downloaded from our website www.greatfallsballoonfestival.org and can be mailed to 392 College St., Lewiston, ME 04240 or faxed to 207-777-4625. If faxing your ride form, please be sure to include your credit card information.

In Auburn, registration forms are available at Ness Oil, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ness Oil is located at 249 Washington Street. In Lewiston, visit Reeder Chiropractic Health Care, Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. (the office closes at 5 p.m. on Fridays). If you wish to schedule a ride during festival weekend, we offer stand-by passenger options. The cost is $200 per person. Please visit the Information Booth at Simard-Payne Memorial Park for ride options.

Cancellation

If your balloon ride is canceled due to weather, you will have the option, if space permits, to fly on a later flight during the festival as a priority stand-by passenger, or you can have a full refund of your ticket.
