Initially, the lunch prices for high school students were to stay at $2 but will now be $2.05. Elementary and middle school students’ lunch prices will increase from $1.80 to $1.85.

All other prices for breakfasts and free and reduced lunch will remain the same as last year.

In other business, the board agreed to pay $3,000 for the accreditation process for each high school campus for 2012-13. The money is in the budget.

The board initially wanted to form a committee to look into the accreditation process before making a decision. But with a deadline looming in September to pay the dues for accreditation, and the board having so much to do in regards to consolidation and reviewing schools, they put off forming a committee and having a discussion on accreditation until January 2013.
