“Greater Purpose” will appear in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, on the lawn at the East Wilton Union Church, Main Street, East Wilton, as part of the 2012 Concerts on the Lawn series. Greater Purpose is a local Christian band formed to celebrate Christ’s life through song. Their songs are scriptural, but are written based on the members’ lives. The band members are Cathi Burke, Craig Hutchinson, Louise McCleery and Alan Hutchinson. All are welcome to the free event. There will be an opportunity for a free-will offering.
