After the Maine Turnpike Authority Board of Directors had a meeting about the tolls, members decided that because of the $26 million debt that the MTA had accumulated (by poor management, I think), they had to raise tolls. We are going to help them.

To help them keep their expenses down, I have a suggestion for Lewiston-Auburn residents: exit at Gray and save $2.25 and save on wear and tear on the Turnpike.

Route 100 is in very good shape and it is a nice road, plus we can save $2.25.
