FARMINGTON — RSU 9 directors voted Tuesday to accept Superintendent Mike Cormier’s nomination of Christine Harrington as a first-grade teacher at Cushing School in Wilton, Cormier said Wednesday.
They also approved transfers that were granted to Amy Tracy, a half-time teacher, to fill the new fifth- and sixth-grade teaching position, and Sharon Parlin, who had job-shared with Tracy, to a full-time position in grade four.
“These two positions are at Cascade Brook School,” Cormier said. Cascade Brook School is in Farmington.
The board also voted after an executive session to readmit a student who was expelled from Mt. Blue Middle School last year, he said.
