NORTHFIELD, Vt. — Devin P. Robbins of Monmouth recently graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences/criminal justice.

Robbins was on the dean’s list all four years he attended Norwich, and graduated magna cum laude. He was also a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Robbins was also one of the students commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant with the United States Army. He received his 1st Salute and Traditional Silver Dollar exchange from his pepere, Ronaldo Morneault, a Retired Army National Guard Staff Sergeant. He is the son of Dean and Colette Robbins of Monmouth, grandson of Ronaldo and Jeanne Morneault of Auburn and Rose Robbins of Lewiston.

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Kelly Dupont recently graduated from Valdosta State University with a Education Specialist School Psychology. The New Gloucester resident is one of more than 1,200 students recognized for meeting the qualifications for graduation during spring 2012 commencement.

WORCESTER, Mass. — Evginia Victoria Tsimis of South Paris earned a Bachelor of Arts in design degree at the 224th commencement of Becker College held on May 14.

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.— Farmington resident Hannah Sloane-Barton graduated from Bard College on May 26 during the college’s 152nd commencement. Sloane-Barton was awarded a bachelor’s degree.

ALBANY, N.Y. — Adam Staier of Farmington graduated from Albany Law School at the school’s 161st commencement, held May 11. Staier earned a Juris Doctor degree.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The following students received degrees from Western New England University.

Aaron Chen of Auburn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Chen graduated cum laude, which signifies scholastic excellence and is awarded at graduation to students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.30 and 3.60.

Tyler H. Hodsdon of Bethel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Jonathan M. Roy of Lewiston, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

Amanda L. Coburn of Salem Township graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.

ELMIRA, N.Y. — Elmira College held its 157th comencement on June 3.

Graduating cum laude, Celia Blancato of Canton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human services, psychology and was presented the Bruce Beaty Memorial Prize, given by Dr. Janice Beaty Janssen, Professor Emerita of Human Services, in memory of her son, to an exceptional graduate in the field of human services.

Graduating cum laude, Amy Chipman of Poland earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in childhood education, mathematics.

HARRISONBURG, Va. —  New Vineyard resident Matthew Swain graduated with a Master of Arts degree in psychological sciences from James Madison University during the May 2012 commencement exercises.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Robert Miller of South Paris graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College on May 20. Miller majored in history .
