LEWISTON — Christin Casavant has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union, on behalf of the membership. She is the daughter of David and Donna Casavant.

While attending Hampden Academy, Casavant received numerous honors, participated in an extensive number of extracurricular activities, with many of the activities in the field of music. Casavant will attend Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania in the fall. She plans to pursue a career in music education.
