MEXICO — The following calls were handled by the Police Department during the past week.
Thefts
A Summit Street resident reported at 9:37 p.m. Aug. 22 that someone had taken two dirt bikes from his garage. Missing are a 2008 green Kawasaki and a 2009 red-and-black Honda with a total value of more than $2,000. The bikes were last seen on Aug. 17. Anyone with information is asked to call the department at 364-5686.
Vandalism
A Main Street resident reported at 12:02 p.m. Aug. 17 that someone vandalized her Ford Escort, causing about $1,000 damage. Police have suspects.
A Kimball Avenue resident reported at 11:12 a.m. Aug. 22, that someone egged her vehicle, causing about $1,100 damage to the paint.
Found
A four-wheel all-terrain vehicle was found by an Oxford County Sheriff’s Office deputy at 5:53 a.m. Aug. 21 at Osgood Avenue and Intervale Road. It was returned to the Osgood Avenue owner.
