POLAND SPRING — The Poland Spring Preservation Society will close out its summer concert series with a performance by nearly a dozen keyboardists on Monday, Aug. 27.
Performing will be organists John Corrie, Norma Rice-Gould, Terrie Harman, Beryl Samia, Janice Stover, Mark Thallander and Scott Vaillancourt; and pianists Kathy Haley, Glenda Winkle-Morrow and others.
The concert, in conjunction with the Mark Thallander Foundation, will be at 7 p.m. at All Souls Chapel, which has a restored 1926 Skinner pipe organ.
Tickets, $7.50 at the door, include refreshments. Proceeds benefit the preservation and restoration of the chapel and the Maine State Building, both of which are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. They also help fund the nonprofit’s educational programs. For more information, call 998-4142 or visit www.polandspringps.org.
