RANGELEY — Individually, Rebecca Martin, who grew up in Rumford, Gretchen Parlato and Becca Stevens are three of New York’s most acclaimed vocalists/songwriters.

Together as Tillery, the three women have won over audiences with their music and infectious chemistry since joining forces in 2010.

The vocal trio organized a weekend of songwriting workshops in New York City at The Jazz Gallery in May and has a May 2013 booking at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

On Saturday, Sept. 1, at 4:30 p.m. Tillery will bring a New York-style jazz performance, with special guests, to Lakeside Theater, courtesy of CAT Productions.

Opening at 4 p.m. will be the Fabulous PEPS, aka Pam Ellis, Erin Smith, Pam Morse and Sue Borko, who are known for their vocal harmonies.

Martin, whose career spans more than two decades, is revered internationally. She has played Carnegie Hall and headlined a full week at the Village Vanguard, a jazz club in Greenwich Village, New York City. She has sung with renowned jazz drummer/percussionist Paul Motian and has appeared on “Late Night With David Letterman.”

She has released a half-dozen albums and worked with esteemed jazz musicians Brian Blade, Paul Motian and Kurt Rosenwinkel.

Her new recording, “‘Twain,” is set for release in January 2013, on Sunnyside Records. The CD also features her husband, jazz bassist Larry Grenadier.

Parlato, a native Californian, rose to prominence with her first-place performance in the 2004 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition. Since then, she has released three solo albums and has sung on more than 50 albums, including high-profile releases by Kenny Barron, Terence Blanchard, Lionel Loueke and Esperanza Spalding.

Although a relative newcomer, Stevens, raised in North Carolina, is quickly making her mark on the jazz scene. Besides releasing two albums of her original compositions with the Becca Stevens Band, she has sung with Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra. She also performed and/or recorded with Taylor Eigsti, Eric Harland and Brad Mehldau.
