BRUNSWICK — A local man was charged Tuesday in a November 2011 armed robbery at the GameStop on Bath Road.

Janra Rodriguez Baltazar, 26, of 12 C St., was arrested at noon and charged with one count of Class A robbery following a 10-month investigation.

According to police, a man robbed the store manager of the GameStop on Nov. 11, 2011. Police report the suspect brandished a firearm during the crime and left the store with more than $2,000 in cash. Baltazar is not believed to be the person who displayed the weapon, but police do consider him directly linked to the crime.

Authorities report Baltazar was arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop on Old Bath Road and a search warrant was executed at his home. Baltazar was being held at the Cumberland County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
