Meservier encompasses a variety of musical styles. From his tenures with the legendary C’est si Bon, the Rhythm Lads and the Blazers, he has been recognized as a bandleader, musical director, singer and facile accompanist, all while maintaining a flair for performance and a respect for the music and the heritage that he celebrates.
Wood has been entertaining for the past 61 years. One of the highlights of his career was when he had the honor and privilege of playing with the great Les Paul at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City five years ago.
The Franco Center presents La Rencontre as a way to reconnect with, entertain and enjoy our extended Franco-American family in the area. Meals and stories are shared, friends are reunited, and memories are made. All guests are welcome.
Each month offers a fully catered luncheon, followed by a performance, both of which change every month. The fun runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Guests are strongly encouraged to speak in French.
