Coach: Jake Gentle (fifth year)

Last year’s record:  10-4-1, lost in Western C quarterfinal

Returning players:  Seniors — Kayla Angelico (F), Gabrielle Ouellette (FB), Chelsea Huston (F), Chantal Bisson (FB), Rachel Ball (MF),  Jordan Kates (FB); Juniors — Shantal MacWhinnie (MF), Paige Galligan (MF), Jenna Clifford (F), Courtney Martel (FB); Sophomores — Kailyn Hill (FB), Drew Stewart-Staples (MF), Loren Grant (MF).

Key losses: Haley Eck (FB), Brooke Lawrence (MF), Katherine Lemieux (FB), Sarah Giraldo (FB), Alexa Harmon (MF).

Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Katherine George (F), Abby Gamache (MF).

Outlook: The Greyhounds have some holes to fill after losing a small group of veterans, including Lawrence, an all-conference pick in the midfield. Lisbon is trying to fill a vacated keeper position. The team still has some talent up front and some solid play in the midfield and back. That should keep the Greyhounds in position to challenge most teams in the MVC and battle for a playoff spot.

Coach’s comment:  “We’re trying to fill in different positions and everyone has to step their game up a little more if we want to stay at the level we were.” — Coach Jake Gentle.
