AUBURN — Shirley Jacobs, 83, of Auburn, passed away Sept. 7 at her home.

She was born April 11, 1929, to parents Everett and Marion Zepotiski Whittier.

Shirley loved animals and enjoyed making puzzles.

Surviving her are a son, Donald Jacobs and his wife, Donna, of Greene; her daughter, Jannie Jacobs of Auburn; two grandsons, Tad Jacobs and wife, Jennifer, of Lewiston, and Jason Jacobs and wife, Crystal, of Leeds; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Clinton Jacobs; her parents; and her brothers.
